Natalie Gilbert signed off the WADC Winmau Championship North in style, winning Event 12 at Middlesbrough Sports Village with a 5-3 final victory over Steph Clarke.
The Darts World ambassador’s third title of the season also booked her place at the ADC Global Championship.
The final weekend had already delivered drama. Vicky Pruim took Event 9 with a 5-1 win over Kim Holden, while Clarke claimed Event 10 against Jo Oldershaw.
Clarke then completed a Sunday double by lifting Event 11, only for Gilbert to produce the last word when the pair met in the Event 12 showpiece. Gilbert had already won Events 1 and 7 earlier in the campaign.

Her latest success moved her into the top two on the completed North ranking, the positions that qualify for November’s ADC Global Championship in Portsmouth.
The expanded 128-player knockout at the MODUS Live Lounge now awaits. Clarke’s weekend haul of two titles and a runners-up finish underlined her own consistency, while Pruim remained a constant threat amd will be a favourite to gain entry via the South edition.
The top eight on the North table will also contest the Tour Finals.
For Gilbert it was another statement performance on a tour she has shaped from the first weekend. Well done Natalie.
