Winmau Autodarts X Open for Pre-Order

Play The Pro Darts Scorer

Winmau’s connected darts system has moved from unveiling to shop window, with pre-orders for Autodarts X now open, priced at £449.

The hardware follows the wider Autodarts ecosystem’s launch at IFA Berlin earlier this month, where Winmau set out its case for a more connected, tech-driven future for the sport, backed by a number of top pros, including world number three Gian van Veen.

Autodarts X is the serious end of this push. A four-camera setup using what Winmau calls PinPoint Detection, paired with 360-degree Plasma-class lighting, aimed at tournament-level accuracy and proper training data rather than casual home use.

It clips onto any standard dartboard and stand, with no drilling required and Winmau’s claiming a sub-two-minute setup from box to first throw.

Hardware aside, the more interesting part for most players is likely to be LENS. This is Winmau’s auto-scoring technology that turns an ordinary smartphone camera into a scorer. Point it at any dartboard and it handles the maths.

The Autodarts app runs on web, iOS and Android, launching in English, German and Dutch, with a free tier and a Plus subscription at £5.99 a month adding extras including score-calling from PDC referee Huw Ware and what Winmau describes as the first AI referee capable of independently reviewing disputed throws.

Pre-orders are live now through Winmau Autodarts
