The weekend sees the Southern section of the Winmau Championship come to a close, with four events to look forward to in Aylesbury.
The South has been dominated by both reigning WDF World Champion Deta Hedman and reigning WDF World Master Gemma Hayter, who have both banked three titles each from the eight played so far. Trina Gulliver and Lou Pearson have taken the other two tournament wins, with Gulliver winning the opening event of the season, and Pearson the champion at Event Four.

Hayter and Hedman are head and shoulders above the rest at the top of the standings, with the top two qualifying for the ADC Global Championship next week, and the top eight making the Winmau Championship Grand Finals at the end of November.
Hayter arrives in Aylesbury having won the Vault National Finals last weekend in emphatic fashion, and she will fancy her chances of glory once more over the two days of play.
It’s those in and around the top eight that are worth watching this weekend, with Fallon Sherrock sitting in ninth spot ahead of the quartet of events. ‘The Queen of the Palace’ should be safe for the Grand Finals though, with Vicky Pruim and Steph Clarke in sixth and seventh places respectively, but both have qualified through their efforts in the North section of events.
Red Dragon National Singles Champion Jo Locke occupies eighth place, with Rebecca Rose and Tracey Dean both at Bradmoor Farm this weekend, and both in the chasing pack.
It promises to be a good week of action in Buckinghamshire, and we will bring you the latest.
