Wenig Leads Off Week Ten

Lukas Wenig took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with the tenth week of Stage 1 commencing at the Modus Super Series.

Germany’s Wenig, made his first appearance in the Super Series, by taking the early lead in Group A, as he won four matches from five, by recording victories over Gavin Carlin, Scott Baker, Davy Proosten and Thibault Tricole, with his only defeat coming against Franz Roetzsch.

Elsewhere, three players in Franz Roetzsch, Gavin Carlin and Thibault Tricole all sit on 6 points each, with debutant Roetzsch sitting in 2^nd with a higher leg difference between the trio, as Scott Baker sits in 5^th on 4 points and Davy Proosten bottom on 0 points, having suffered five defeats from five.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Wenig leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
