Colley and West Lead MSS

Reece Colley and Steve West took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join David Evans in Saturday’s finale at the Modus Super Series.

Colley, who last appeared at the Super Series back in July, made his return by taking the early lead in Group C, after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Mario Robbe, Justin Hood, Kevin Dowling and Michael Huntley, with his only defeat coming against Martin Adams.

Elsewhere, Martin Adams and Justin Hood also ended the day on 8 points each, but sit 2^nd and 3^rd respectively behind Colley on leg difference, whilst Mario Robbe, Michael Huntley and Kevin Dowling sit 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively on 2 points each.

In Group B, Steve West took the early lead, after winning three of his four matches on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Robert Thornton, Danny Lauby and Stefan Schroder, with his only defeat coming against Fallon Sherrock.

Elsewhere, Sherrock also ended the evening on 6 points, but sits in 2^nd behind West on leg difference, whilst Robert Thornton and Danny Lauby sit 3^rd and 4^th respectively on 4 points each, with Stefan Schroder sitting bottom on 0 points, having suffered four defeats from four.

Modus Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join David Evans in Saturday’s finale, with Colley and West taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST.
