Marcel Walpen took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Four of Series Six commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Walpen, who was making his debut at the Super Series, made an excellent start by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five and recording victories against Niall Culleton, Stefan Bellmont, Jacob Taylor and Adam Hunt, with his only defeat coming against Danny Lauby.
Elsewhere, Niall Culleton ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, whilst the remaining four players in Danny Lauby, Adam Hunt, Jacob Taylor and Stefan Bellmont sit 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th respectively on 4 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Walpen leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
