Sunday saw the final two Challenge Tour events of the year take place, with Andreas Harrysson and Sebastian Bialecki claiming the spoils on a dramatic day in the East Midlands.
In Event 23, Harrysson went back-to-back having picked up the title at Event 22 less than 24 hours prior, with the Swede reaching the final firstly by recording victories against Lee Grace, Jimmy Van Schie, Patrick Peters, Bradley Brooks, Darius Labanauskas and Kai Gotthardt, to set up a clash with Connor Scutt.
The final began with Scutt racing into a 2-0 lead, with winning legs coming in 18 and 13 darts respectively, before Harrysson stormed in front by rattling off three successive legs in a total of 48 darts to move 3-2 ahead in a race to five.
Scutt levelled the tie up at 3apiece in the following leg, before Harrysson won back-to-back legs in 10 and 12 darts respectively to seal a 5-3 victory and claim yet another £2,500 top prize and a second successive title success.
In Event 24, Sebastian Bialecki was victorious, with the Polish youngster reaching the final firstly by recording victories against Grant Brown, Pete Burgoyne, Jaikob Selby-Rivas, Martin Grearson, Callum Francis and Adam Paxton, to set up a clash with Ted Evetts.
The tie remarkable saw the pair hold throw for the nine successive legs with the advantage of winning the bull proving to be vital for Bialecki, with the Pole sealing a deciding leg victory in Leg Nine with a 19 darter to pick up a maiden Challenge Tour title as well as collecting the £2,500 top prize.
