Grand Slam Field Confirmed

The 32-player field for the 2024 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts has been confirmed following the culmination of the Winmau Challenge Tour season on Sunday.

Connor Scutt will make his Grand Slam of Darts debut in Wolverhampton next weekend, after clinching top spot on the 2024 Winmau Challenge Tour Order of Merit.

The 28-year-old finished £675 above his closest challenger Wesley Plaisier following a dramatic climax to the season at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena, reaching the final of Sunday’s penultimate event to secure top spot at the Dutchman’s expense.

Reigning champion Luke Humphries will headline the 32-player field at this year’s Grand Slam of Darts, with 2022 champion Michael Smith and three-time winner Michael van Gerwen also set to star.

Rob Cross – a runner-up to Humphries last year – will also feature alongside teenage sensation Luke Littler, who will make his highly-anticipated debut in the unique round-robin event.

Stephen Bunting and Dimitri Van den Bergh sealed their qualification by virtue of their Masters and UK Open successes earlier this year, and they will be joined in Wolverhampton by Mike De Decker and Ritchie Edhouse.

De Decker claimed his maiden televised title at last month’s World Grand Prix, before Edhouse followed suit at the recent European Championship in Dortmund.

Former Grand Slam finalists Peter Wright, Gary Anderson and James Wade will also feature among the 32-player field, with Wade securing his qualification in last Friday’s Tour Card Holder Qualifier.

The 2024 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts will take place at WV Active Aldersley from November 9-17, as the sport’s biggest names battle it out for the coveted Eric Bristow Trophy.

The draw for the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts will be made on Monday November 4, and will be available through the PDC’s social media channels.
