Darius Labanauskas took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as Champions Week of Series Nine commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Labanauskas, who entered Champions Week having won Week One back in September, made a perfect start by winning all five of his matches.
The popular Lithuanian recorded victories against Tom Sykes, Andreas Harrysson, Jim Long, Romeo Grbavac and Scott Taylor, to sit on a maximum 10 points from 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Andreas Harrysson ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, whilst three players in Scott Taylor, Tom Sykes and Jim Long sit 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively on 4 points each, with Romeo Grbavac sitting bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale, with Labanauskas leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
