Flying Scotsman closes betting gap to Humphries at BoyleSports World Grand Prix
Gary Anderson is now hot on the heels of Luke Humphries in the betting for the BoyleSports World Grand Prix after seeing off former World Champion Michael Smith in the opening round on Tuesday.
The title sponsor trimmed Anderson into 4/1 (from 10/1) after he just prevailed over Smith in a tight 2-1 victory on a night that saw six of the eight matches go down to the wire.
Gerwyn Price is the 7/1 third favourite to be crowned champion in Leicester on Sunday night after he saw off the challenge of Danny Nopert in a 2-1 victory in another competitive affair.

Humphries is back in action tonight as a hot 1/7 favourite for his last-16 encounter with Ricardo Pietreczko (9/2), while Nathan Aspinall, Rob Cross and Ross Smith are all marginal odds-on favourites to book quarter-final spots in the other three matches.
