Adam Lipscombe, James Richardson, Darryl Pilgrim, Bradley Brooks and Sebastian Bialecki all secured their places in Saturday’s Finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the ADC Global Championship, to join Andy Boulton, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Lipscombe, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall, after winning four of his five matches.
Adam recorded victories against James Richardson, Andreas Nikolaou, Gemma Hayter and Brian Raman, with his only defeat coming against Conor Heneghan, to end on 16 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, James Richardson also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 16 points and missing out on top spot due to leg difference, whilst Conor Heneghan and Brian Raman finished 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with Gemma Hayter and Andreas Nikolaou finishing 5th and 6th on 4 points each.
In Group B, Darryl Pilgrim topped the group overall, after winning three of his four matches on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Sebastian Bialecki, Bradley Brooks and Thomas Banks, with his only defeat coming against Bradly Roes, to end on 12 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Bradley Brooks and Sebastian Bialecki also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Brooks ending on 10 points and Bialecki on 8 points, whilst Thomas Banks finished 4th on 6 points and Bradly Roes bottom on 4 points.
The ADC Global Championship continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week One with the six players battling it out for the £5,000 top prize. Play will commence from 7:30pm GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
