Luke Littler has consolidated his position as the even-money favourite with William Hill to win this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year award, following success in the UK Open.
Formula One drivers Lando Norris (11/2) and Lewis Hamilton (12/1) trail the newly crowned UK Open winner in the market, while Chelsea’s Lucy Bronze is 12/1, ahead of fellow WSL and Lionesses’ captain Leah Williamson at 16/1.
Two-time SPOTY nominee Ronnie O’Sullivan and England Women’s Rugby Union star Ellie Kildunne, share odds of 16/1 to claim the prestigious award.
“Luke Littler continues to triumph, winning the UK Open in emphatic style in a resounding final victory, reinforcing his position at the top of the market to win SPOTY at even-money.
“We could well see a British driver crowned champion in F1 this year, but with the season yet to get underway, Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton trail the darts sensation at 11/2 and 12/1 respectively in our SPOTY market. England’s Lucy Bronze (12/1) and Leah Williamson (16/1) are also in the mix to land the award this year.
“Following withdrawal from the World Grand Prix, Ronnie O’Sullivan remains at 16/1, alongside Harlequins’ Ellie Kildunne.”
