Andreas Harrysson was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Double Trouble Week at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Neil Duff in the final and claiming the £5,000 top prize.
Harrysson, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Ted Evetts and Neil Duff to progress through to the Semi Finals.
The Swede came up against Leonard Gates, and from there, Andreas defeated his North American opponent, 3-1, to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Harrysson came up against Neil Duff for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Robert Thornton in the last four, and once again, ‘Dirty Harry’ got the better of ‘The Duffman’.
Harrysson sealed a 3-1 victory and denied Duff the opportunity to reclaim his Double Trouble crown as well as claiming the £5,000 first prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with Series Ten continuing and the start of Week Seven, with the first of three days of Group A and the field including Neil Duff and Former PDC Tour Card Holder Jon Worsley.
Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
