PDC Join Forces with Werner and Launch their Rankings Ladder

When it comes to getting noticed, Werner – purveyors of ladders, platforms, and all things vertical – have just climbed back onto one of the sport world’s most apt stages: darts. 

In a move that blends high-flying ambition with steady footing, Werner has inked a partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), becoming the official sponsor of the newly titled Werner Rankings Ladder. Yes, it’s literally a ladder. Metaphorically, it’s a clever brand alignment. Either way, it works.

Bushra Imtiaz, Werner UK’s Head of Marketing and, we suspect, part-time wordsmith, described the collaboration as more than a sponsorship: It’s a strategic alignment of two category leaders.” 

In other words, Werner knows ladders, the PDC knows arrows, and together they’re aiming for a bullseye in brand visibility.

Werner plans to make the most of its return to the oche with a series of high-impact activations – including branded stage signage at the iconic Winter Gardens during the World Matchplay, where tungsten meets tradition and fans meet pints.

And it doesn’t end there. Bespoke content featuring top PDC stars will be rolled out over the coming year, along with exclusive prizes for darts devotees who know their doubles from their drop goals (wrong sport, but you get the idea). The Werner Rankings Ladder will feature across all PDC media, reminding everyone that whether you’re climbing the world rankings or just fixing a lightbulb, Werner has you covered.

Adam Perfect, the PDC’s Head of Commercial, welcomed Werner back with open arms and a steady hand: 

They’re market leaders globally, and we’re already working on some exciting activations – including the return of ‘Gravity Darts,’ which fans couldn’t get enough of.”

As for the fans, the next chapter begins at the World Matchplay from July 19–27, where Gravity Darts returns, and Werner continues its mission to turn access solutions into an art form.
