The world of darts is heading back to the biggest stage – and into living rooms across the UK – after World Seniors Darts (WSD) secured a landmark broadcast deal with BBC Sport. Great sport needs famed venues, high quality coverage and, of course, talented and interesting players. World Seniors Darts have nailed all three.
Under the new agreement, both the Seniors World Matchplay and Seniors World Championship will be shown live and free on BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website, and the BBC Sport app.
The next event on the calendar is the hotly anticipated Seniors World Matchplay, taking place on Saturday 15 November 2025 at the historic Epsom Racecourse in Surrey.
The following February, from the 19th to the 21st, the Seniors World Championship will return to its spiritual home – the iconic Circus Tavern in Essex.
Speaking on the new broadcast deal, WSD Chief Executive Jason Francis said:
“I’m delighted to be able to confirm a new deal with the BBC. It’s fantastic to continue our partnership with them to bring Seniors Darts free to everyone’s TV.”
The move ensures that fans across the UK will have front-row seats – for free – to witness some of the most beloved legends of the oche in action.
This year’s Seniors Matchplay is packed with pedigree, featuring former world champions including Steve Beaton, Martin Adams, John Part, Trina Gulliver, Richie Burnett, Scott Waites, and Neil Duff.

They’re joined by household names like Simon Whitlock, Mervyn King, Vincent van der Voort, Kevin Painter, Robert Thornton, and John Henderson.
And now, with the official draw confirmed, the road to Seniors World Matchplay glory is set:
