Neil Duff was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Three at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Nathan Potter in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly top prize.
Duff, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches as he firstly defeated Gemma Hayter, before suffering a defeat to Michael Huntley.
However, the former WDF World Champion did progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Richie Howson, and from there, Duff defeated ‘The Owl’ 4-1 to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Duff came up against Nathan Potter, who’d defeated Michael Huntley in the last four, and the Northern Irishman got the better of his teenage opponent, as Duff defeated Potter 4-2 to seal his place at Champions Week as well as collecting the weekly prize cheque.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Four, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Former Weekly winner Reece Robinson.
Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
