Usher Sweeps Toward MSS Finale

Graham Usher maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Graham, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, topped the group overall after winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against Jack Tweddell, Gary Hayes, Damian Palaszewski, Colin Osborne and Manpreet Kalsi, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Colin Osborne is the closest competitor to Usher, with ‘The Wizard’ sitting in 2^nd overall on 14 points. The Darts World ambassador seems to be settling in with new glasses as he won 4 matches from 5 and was only edged in a decider by group leader Usher.

Whilst Jack Tweddell and Manpreet Kalsi sit 3^rd and 4^th respectively on 10 points each, with Damian Palaszewski and Gary Hayes sitting 5^th and 6^th on 4 points each.

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Usher leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The MODUS YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
