Tom Sykes was victorious on Saturday night as he was crowned the winner of Week Eight at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Boris Krcmar in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the top prize.
Sykes, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches, as he firstly defeated George Monios, before suffering a defeat to Boris Krcmar.
However, the Englishman did progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Paul Hogan, and from there, Sykes defeated his compatriot, 4-2, to book his place in the final.
