Derek Coulson took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as Champions Week of Series 12 commenced at the MODUS Super Series.
The in form Coulson, who entered Champions Week having won Week Nine in October, made a perfect return by taking the early lead in Group A after winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against David Evans, Keegan Brown, Charlie Manby, Dean Finn and Tom Sykes, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, David Evans and Keegan Brown ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Charlie Manby sits in 4th on 4 points, with Tom Sykes and Dean Finn sitting 5th and 6th on 2 points each.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale, with Coulsen leading the way thus far.
