Williams Favourite For MSS Finale Spot

Patrik Williams maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Patrik, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five again to remain at the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Radek Szaganski, Steve Lennon, Archie Self and Scott Campbell, with his only defeat coming against Lars-Erik Lindgreen, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Steve Lennon is the closest competitor to Williams, with the Irishman sitting in 2^nd on 14 points, whilst Radek Szaganski sits in 3^rd on 12 points, Scott Campbell and Lars-Erik Lindgreen sitting 4^th and 5^th on 8 points each, with Archie Self sitting bottom on 2 points.

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Williams leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
