Andy Baetens took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Five of Series 13 commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Former WDF World Champion, Baetens, who last competed at the Super Series back in July 2023, made his long-awaited return by taking the early lead in Group A, with the Belgian winning four matches from five and recording victories against Jyri Ussa, Robert Thornton, Justin Smith and Graham Hall, with his only defeat coming against Butch Devine, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, three players in Graham Hall, Justin Smith and Butch Devine ended the day 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on 6 points each, whilst Jyri Ussa sits in 5th on 4 points and Robert Thornton bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Baetens leading the way thus far.
