Adrian Gray and Jamai Van den Herik took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Alex Spellman in Saturday’s finale at the MODUS Super Series darts.
Gray, who last competed at the Super Series back in October, made a perfect return by taking the early lead in Group C after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Jasper Scarrott, Reece Colley, David Munyua, Timothy Jones and Jamie Kelling, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Jamie Kelling and Reece Colley ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Jasper Scarrott sits in 4th on 4 points, with David Munyua and Timothy Jones sit 5th and 6th on 2 points each.

In Group B, Jamai Van den Herik took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Dean Finn, Lewis Pride, Dmitrii Rogov and Ryan Branley, to sit on a maximum 8 points from a possible 8 thus far.
Elsewhere, Dean Finn ended the night in 2nd on 6 points, whilst Ryan Branley sits in 3rd on 4 points, Dmitrii Rogov in 4th on 2 points and Lewis Pride bottom on 0 points having suffered four straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Alex Spellman in Saturday’s finale, with Gray and Van den Herik taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST.
