Pritchard’s 20 Years Marked by Warwickshire
I would like to add my congratulations to Neil Pritchard on completing 20 years as Chairman of Warwickshire County Darts Organisation, an absolutely fantastic feat.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Neil for all of the information and results he has furnished me with for this very column, not only for his beloved Warwickshire but also for other local counties when they haven’t sent me their results.
County Treasurer Linda Howe added this tribute to Neil in the recent Warwickshire home fixture program against Essex.
Vellender’s Perfect Moment
Congratulations to Andy Vellender who has become the very first player in the Stourbridge-based Ashwood Premier League to record a perfect nine-dart game of 501.
Playing against Danny Williams, Andy hit two consecutive 180’s and then checked out on 141 hitting treble twenty, treble nineteen, and double twelve, a fantastic performance.
