Steve Green, Radek Szaganski, Simon Stevenson, Neil Duff and Jack Drayton all secured their places in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series darts, to join Derek Coulson, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Green, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning three of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Scott Taylor, Graham Hall and Chas Barstow, with his two defeats coming against Radek Szaganski and Nathan Potter, to end on 16 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Radek Szaganski also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, whilst Chas Barstow and Nathan Potter finished 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with Graham Hall finishing 5th on 8 points and Scott Taylor bottom on 4 points.

In Group B, Simon Stevenson topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Jamai Van den Herik, Jack Drayton, Keanu Van Velzen and Neil Duff, to end on 14 points from a possible 16 overall.
Neil Duff and Jack Drayton also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Duff ending on 10 points and Drayton on 8 points, edging out Jamai Van den Herik, who also ended on 8 points, but missed out in 4th due to leg difference, whilst Keanu Van Velzen finished bottom on 0 points having suffered eight straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Champions Week with the six players battling it out for the £20,000 first prize, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
