With the end of the season, for the Sheldon and District Winter League, now well in sight the finals of their Sheldon Shield was the order of the day and in the last four games, Sheldon Marlborugh Arrows, who are second in the premier league, had a 4-3 win over RAFA, who are placed fourth in the same division. The second of the semi-finals produced something of a shock result as division two side CBMC-A won 5-2 against their division one opponents Banbury Club. The final result was 6-1 to see Sheldon Marlborugh Arrows become champions with CBMC-A runners-up.

Trident Spears ended the season in third place with twenty-six points after adding on their 8-1 win at Moseley Rugby Club. There was a final-game win for bottom placed Station Inn, only their third in eighteen games, when they won 6-3 at home over Yardley Ex Colts, who finished next to bottom of the table with four more points than their hosts.

The rearranged fixtures for division two brought together the division’s top two teams, leaders Langley Pints taking on second placed Maggies. Going into the fixture Langley were on thirty points from sixteen games and Maggies, twenty-four from fifteen games. The result was a close 5-4 win for Maggies to leave them four points short of their hosts with two games to play, Langley having one more fixture remaining. However, should Maggies win both of the games and Langle Pints lose their one game, Maggies would stillo finish as runners-up as Langley Pints have the superior average. Mason Webb found the three treble twenties for Pints. The second fixture saw bottom placed Trident Flights lose 7-2 at home to Hunters Moon.
