Lewis Pride secured his place in Saturday’s Finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the MODUS Super Series.
Pride, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Meinte Hibma, Adrian Gray, Devon Petersen and Scott Taylor, with his only defeat coming against Carl Wilson, to end on 24 points from a possible 30 overall.
Elsewhere, Scott Taylor and Carl Wilson will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Taylor ending on 20 points and Wilson on 18 points.
The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Richie Burnett, Ron Meulenkamp and Lee Evans.
Meinte Hibma, Adrian Gray and Devon Petersen will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Hibma ending on 14 points, Gray on 10 points and Petersen on 4 points.
The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Kevin Painter, John O’Shea and James Marcroft. The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
