Derek Coulson moved to the top of the table on Tuesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five on Day Two and looks in a strong position to secure his place in Saturday’s Darts Finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday. But he may not have things all his own way.
Coulson, who entered Tuesday’s play on 6 points from the opening day of Group A, won five matches from five to go top of the table, as he recorded victories against Jamai Van den Herik, Patrick Dekker, James Hubbard, Gary Mawson and David Munyua, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Van den Herik is the closest competitor to Coulson. The Dutchman is not being intimidated by form or fame and is currently sitting in 2nd on 14 points. Jamai has a decent record at darts’ Live Lounge and could yet challenge the rampant Welshman
James Hubbard and David Munyua sit 3rd and 4th on 10 points each, with Patrick Dekker sitting in 5th on 6 points and Gary Mawson bottom on 4 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Coulson leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday with daily MSS play is streamed on Pluto TV with highlights and other coverage on the MODUS Super Series YouTube channel, or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
