SCOTT Robertson’s put together a nine-match darts winning streak on Tuesday before being halted by the vastly experienced Steve West. The Scot still holds a clear four-point lead heading into the final day of Group A at the MODUS Super Series.
Robertson, who swept all five of his matches on Monday, continued his dominant form through most of Day Two at the Live Lounge in Portsmouth. He recorded comfortable 4-1 victories over Francesco Basili, Scott Winder, Scott Taylor and Chuck Puleo to stretch his unbeaten run to nine matches.
Steve West then produced the decisive moment of the day. In a high-quality encounter, the five-time weekly champion got revenge for his opening-day loss, defeating Robertson 4-3 with a 144 checkout that mirrored the finish Robertson had used against him 24 hours earlier.

The result left Robertson on 18 points (9 wins from 10) and West on 14 points with 7 wins.
Scott Taylor remains in the mix in third, while Basili, Puleo and Winder continue to battle for the lower places. It was another mixed day for the trio of Scotts. Taylor picked up results but could not close the gap on the leaders, while Winder showed improved form with a notable win over Taylor early in the session.
The top two now look well placed to secure Finals Night qualification on Saturday, though Wednesday’s final round of matches will decide the exact order and the remaining places.

Robertson remains the clear favourite to top the group and book his place in Saturday’s Finals Night. West is best positioned to join him, while the remaining four players fight for the other qualification spots and potential movement into Groups B and C later in the week.
The six players return on Wednesday for the decisive final day of Group A action.
