THE final block of darts events on the PDC Nordic & Baltic ProTour took place over the weekend, with events 11 and 12 coming from Tallinn, Estonia. With all of the European Tour qualifiers completed for the season, it was just these two events to fully focus on for the players.
The top two on the Order of Merit at the end of the weekend would qualify for the 2027 World Championships, that currently being Daniel Larsson and Cor Dekker, separated by €300, followed by Jani Haavisto €900 back. With €1,300 on offer to the winner of each event, there was still plenty to play for at the top.
Furthermore, the top 24 after ProTour 12 would also confirm their qualifying for the Nordic & Baltic Championship, which takes place on the first of November. The winner of this event also qualifies for the World Championships, and for the first time has a spot at the Grand Slam on the line too.

The first event began on Saturday morning, kicking off at 11am local time. With Jani Haavisto falling in the Last 32 to Arūnas Sakalauskas, Larsson was given the opportunity to wrap up his spot at the World Championships nice and early, and he certainly did so. With his Quarter-Final win over Dmitriy Zhukov he became unassailable at the top. It means the Swede will make a first appearance at Alexandra Palace in four years, having previously qualifies four times between 2019-2023.

Larsson’s run was ended there however, as he was defeated by Finland’s Petri Rasmus, who in turn made his very first final on the Nordic & Baltic Tour. Rasmus was in good form, having won the WDF Swedish Masters and hitting a 9-darter just a month prior, and he took this into the final. He beat fellow Fin Teemu Harju to claim a first title on the Nordic & Baltic Tour, rocketing up the rankings to become the Finnish #2.
The performance of the event came from Teemu Harju, averaging 100.1 in his Last 16 win over Viktor Tingström.

The final event of the season rolled in, and the situation was simple for Cor Dekker. Reach the Last 16 and the World Championship spot was his. Fail to do so, and Haavisto could take it with a title in the final event.

Dekker made the situation simple. A first-round win over Martti Mikk sealed second spot, regardless of losing to Mio Varila in the Last 16. Having qualified through the ProTour last year, he will return to Alexandra Palace for a second time in December.
As the event continued, it became clear that there would be a second new winner of the weekend. Viktor Tingström moved into a first final, finally getting over the line in his fifth semi-final on the tour with a 6-2 win over Benjamin Drue Reus, averaging a brilliant 102.64. He was joined by Denmark’s Jonas Graversen, who also won his first Semi-Final, for him at the fourth time of asking, with a deciding leg win over Johan Engström.
The Dane managed to pick up the win, securing his very first title on the Nordic & Baltic Tour, and a top four finish on the Order of Merit.

What this means?
The two spots for the World Championships we already know have gone to Daniel Larsson and Cor Dekker, but there was more up for offer.
The top eight on all of the PDC affiliate tours qualify for the preliminary rounds of the 2027 Winmau World Masters, and these have also now been confirmed. Larsson and Dekker will be joined by Jani Haavisto, Jonas Graversen, Oskar Lukasiak, Viktor Tingström, Petri Rasmus and Teemu Harju, with Labanauskas’ spot being passed down due to him having a Tour Card next year.
If any of the eight qualifiers players win a Tour Card at Q-School, their spot will be passed down the rankings, but withdrawals will not have the same result.
Finally, the draw for the Nordic & Baltic Championship has also been confirmed.

The winner of each group will qualify for the Quarter-Finals, where they will fight it out for a spot at the World Championships and the Grand Slam.
Should an already qualified player win the Nordic & Baltic Championships (Larsson, Dekker, Labanauskas), the spot will get passed down to #3 on the Tour – Jani Haavisto.
