Jamie Atkins took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as the Ninth Week of Series 15 commenced at the MODUS Super Series.
Atkins, who last competed at the Super Series back in March, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Robert Thornton, Jim Widmayer, Nico Plovier and Jeff Smith, with his only defeat coming against Michael Wiles, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Jeff Smith and Michael Wiles also ended the day on 8 points each but sit 2nd and 3rd respectively behind Atkins on leg difference, whilst Jim Widmayer sits in 4th on 4 points, Nico Plovier in 5th on 2 points and Robert Thornton bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Atkins leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
