The reason I spotted these, in particular, is that at some point since my last column I seem to have competed on almost every single one of them!

Even at the top of his profession Nigel Pearson did not rest on his laurels or take things for granted. Instead, he encouraged and supported those around him, as the testimonies opposite show clearly, and thought about those to come afterward.

Three comfortable wins and my first 100+ average of the weekend ensured that I was in good shape to face Wayne Jones in the L32. Wayne and I go back a long way and its ironic to face him again in this arena
