Women in Darts

Many will hope for a little more variety than the first weekend provided. Fans of Lisa Ashton however will wish simply for more of the same.

Players and supporters alike are focusing on the upcoming second weekend of the 2022 PDC Women's Series, which will take place on April 30 & May 1 in Wigan.

Beau and Arrow also recorded the highest average of anyone on the final day, winning with the third highest recorded by a woman on the Lakeside stage hitting a 92.05 average. 

Kirsty Hutchinson the 6th Seed beat Rhian O’Sullivan 3-2 to reach her first final on her Lakeside debut, whilst Beau Greaves stormed passed Lorraine Winstanley who only won two legs in the entire Semi-Final.

Ashton had dominated Saturday's opening day in the year's 20-event PDC Women's Series by claiming back-to-back titles.

The eight-player tournament will be held in one afternoon session at the Winter Gardens, with a £25,000 prize fund [&] a spot in the 2022 Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts.

The WDF have managed to confirm a large section of the playing schedule for the rearranged Lakeside World Championship:

Robert Thornton and Chris Landman headlined the final automatic qualifiers for Final Stage of the 2022 PDC Qualifying Schools on Tuesday, as Fallon Sherrock also progressed
