A POPULAR and respected darts official in Wales, Dai Davies, has died after an illness in Cardiff.
A former Colour Sergeant with 5th Welsh Regiment, Dai was General Secretary of the Glamorgan Darts Organisation for a number of years and also served the Welsh Darts Organisation as chairman.
A silent tribute was paid to both Dai Davies and Billy Lennard by delegates at the British Darts Organisation annual general meeting in London.
