Luke Littler won the JDC Super 16 final in Milton Keynes on Sunday, with the teenager defeating Eleanor Cairns to take the title.
Warrington’s Littler, 15, was the runner-up two years ago when he lost to Keane Barry in the Super 16 final, but this time took the title with a 5-0 victory.
Littler and St Helens’ Cairns, 17, had won through the early rounds in 2021, as the JDC split the event into regional events for boys and girls.
Littler will continue to compete on the JDC circuit this year, while Cairns is set to compete in the PDC’s Women’s Series and Development Tour events.
2022/23 JDC Super 16 will see 16 Academy students and 16 qualifiers compete in the early rounds on December 3, ahead of the final being played during the 2023 Masters.
