Archie Self and Dylan Slevin were victorious on Saturday, in winning Winmau Challenge Tour Events 18 & 19 respectively, as the fourth weekend of the PDC’s second tier tour season continued in Milton Keynes.
16-year-old Self, who’d previously reached two Semi Finals on the Challenge Tour in 2026, reached the final of Event 18 firstly by recording victories against Connor Arberry, Scott Waites, Derek Coulson, Harry Ward, John Henderson and Alan Norris, to set up a clash with Germany’s Daniel Klose.
The final began with Klose racing into a 2-0 lead with winning legs coming in 13 and 19 darts respectively. The pair then held throw for the following two legs before Self rattled off three successive legs which saw the teenager move 4-3 ahead and within one of victory.
Klose set up a ninth and deciding leg in Leg Eight with a 20 dart hold of throw, with Self having the advantage of throwing first in the decider. This proved decisive as the 16-year-old sealed a maiden PDC title with a 17 darter to claim the £3,000 top prize.
In Event 19, Dylan Slevin was victorious with the Irishman reaching the final firstly by recording victories against Ben Stanton, Joe Hunt, Owen Maiden, David Evans, Gilbert Van der Meijden and Steve Beaton, to set up a clash with England’s Tommy Morris.
The final began with back-to-back breaks of throw between the pair before Slevin took complete control of the tie by rattling off four successive legs and sealing a 5-1 victory in Leg Six with a 17 darter to clinch a maiden Challenge Tour title of his career.
The PDC Winmau Challenge Tour weekend concludes on Sunday with Event 20 taking place in Milton Keynes as play commences from 10:30 BST, with all live scores and results to be viewed at tv.dartconnect.com
