Matthew Dennant secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Online Darts Live League.
Dennant, who entered Wednesday’s play joint 2nd on 6 points, won all five of his matches as he progressed through to Saturday’s finale, in recording victories over Robert Thornton, Rob Collins, Chris Gilliland, Lisa Ashton and Colin Osborne, dropping just seven legs on the route.
Elsewhere, Chris Gilliland and Colin Osborne will compete in Group B on Thursday and Friday evening, after the pair finished joint 2nd on 10 points each and the same leg difference of +3. The trio will be joined in Group B by Lee Evans, Jamie Kelling and Josh Richardson.
Despite also ending on 10 points, Robert Thornton narrowly missed out on a spot in Group B on leg difference, as he will compete in Group C, alongside Rob Collins and Lisa Ashton, who finished 5th and 6th respectively overall. The trio will be joined in Group C by Jim McEwan, Jamie Kelling and Kurt Parry.
Online Darts Live League continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
