Duff Out of Puff as Girvan Claims Live League

Nathan Girvan was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 4 at the Online Darts Live League.

Nathan defeated Peter Jacques in the final to secure a place in Champions Week, with Mike Warburton also advancing in winning the 3rd place playoff.

Girvan, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, won both of his group phase matches, defeating Kurt Parry and Neil Duff, dropping just 3 legs on route to the Semi-Finals, where he took on Mike Warburton and seen off the Welshman 4-2 to book his place in the final and a guaranteed spot at Champions Week.

In the decider, Girvan took on Peter Jacques, who also won both of his group phase matches on the night, and the Scottish Teenager defeated the Former Tour Card Holder 4-2 to take the Week 4 crown of Phase 3 heading into Champions Week.

Elsewhere, beaten Semi-Finalists Mike Warburton and Neil Duff competed in a 3rd place playoff, to see who would join Girvan and Jacques in Champions Week, with Warburton coming from behind to defeat Duff in a last-leg decider 4-3.

Online Darts Live League returns on Tuesday with Champions Week commencing with the first of two days of Group A, with the field to be announced in due course.

Play will commence from 9:30 am BST and will be streamed live on the Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
