Graham Usher was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 3 at the Online Darts Live League, after defeating Matthew Edgar in the final and securing a place in Champions Week, with Andy Jenkins also advancing in winning the 3rd place playoff.
Usher, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, won just one of his group phase matches, in defeating Justin Smith, before losing out to Matthew Edgar. In the Semi-Finals, Usher took on Andy Jenkins, and defeated ‘Rocky’ 4-2 to book his place in the final and an automatic spot at Champions Week.
In the final, Usher took on Matthew Edgar for the second time on the night, and got his revenge over ‘Prime Time’, in defeating him comfortably 4-1 to take the £2,000 weekly bonus and the Week 3 crown of Phase 4 at the Live League.
Elsewhere, beaten Semi Finalists Andy Jenkins and Gary Stone competed in a 3rd place playoff, with the winner joining Usher and Edgar in Champions Week, with Jenkins coming out a 4-3 victor over Stone.
Online Darts Live League returns on Tuesday with Week 4 commencing with the first of three days of Group A, with the field to be announced in due course. Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
