Ryan Murray and Daniel Klose both took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, joint top, as both won four of their five matches, with the eleventh week of Stage 1 commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Former Tour Card Holder, Murray, made his first appearance in the Super Series, as he recorded victories over Rob Collins, Greg Ritchie, Peter Jacques and Mark McGeeney, with his only defeat coming against Daniel Klose, who ended an impressive debut on 8 points, as the pair sit on the same leg difference too of +8.
Elsewhere, three players in Greg Ritchie, Mark McGeeney and Rob Collins all ended the day on 4 points each, with Ritchie sitting in 3rd with a higher leg difference between the trio, as Peter Jacques sits bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Murray and Klose leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
