Graham Usher was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week 6 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating James Richardson in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 1st prize.
Usher, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group C on Thursday & Friday, won just one of his group phase matches, as he lost his opener to Gian Van Veen, before defeating Paul Hogan to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Gary Stone, and came out a 4-1 victor to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Usher came up against James Richardson, who’d defeated Gian Van Veen in the last four, and ‘The Gambler’ defeated ‘Ruthless’ 4-1 to take the Week 6 crown, seal his place in Champions Week again and pick up the £5,000 weekly 1st prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 7, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course.
