Scott Taylor was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week 4 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Andy Boulton in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 1st prize.
Taylor, who entered the finale having won Group C on Thursday and Friday, won both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Gary Stone and Scott Walters to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Alan Tabern, and there he defeated ‘The Saint’ 4-2 to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Taylor came up against the inform Andy Boulton, who’d defeated Gary Stone in the previous round, and the former Tour Card Holder produced a remarkable display to whitewash ‘The X Factor’ 4-0 with an average of 109.31, to seal his place in Champions Week and pick up the £5,000 weekly 1st prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 5, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course.
