Dirty Harry Sweeps Clean As Suzuki Stutters

Andreas Harrysson took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, with the Seventh Week of Series Five commencing at the Modus Super Series.

The Swede, who last appeared at the Super Series back in April, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against Chris Wickenden, Cor Dekker, Haruki Muramatsu, Mikuru Suzuki and Kevin Painter, dropping just eight legs along the way. 

Elsewhere, Haruki Muramatsu and Cor Dekker ended the day 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall on 6 points each, whilst Kevin Painter and Chris Wickenden sit 4^th and 5^th on 4 points each, but it was a disappointing return to the Super Series for Mikuru Suzuki, with the Japanese Star failing to register a victory, having suffered five defeats from five.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Harrysson leading the way thus far.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
