‘Bolt’ Defuses The Nuke

Red Dragon Darts

Sebastian Bialecki was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Nine at the Modus Super Series.

The Bolt halted the semingly unstoppable Luke Littler on the last 4 before defeating Andy Boulton in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.

Bialecki, who entered the finale having won Group C on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his group phase matches, as he defeated Jelle Klaasen, before suffering a defeat to Andy Boulton.

The Polish star progressed through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Luke Littler, he defeated the reigning (back-to-back) Super Series Champion, 4-3, to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Bialecki came up against Andy Boulton for the second time on the night, and this time, ‘The Bolt’ got his revenge against ‘X-Factor’, as he came through a last leg decider to seal his place in Champions Week and pick up the £5,000 weekly first prize.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 10, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course.

Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
