Justin Hood, Reece Colley, Robert Thornton, Steve West and Danny Lauby all secured their places in Saturday’s finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join David Evans, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Hood, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five.
Happy Feet recorded victories against Kevin Dowling, Martin Adams, Reece Colley, Michael Huntley and Mario Robbe, to end on 18 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Reece Colley also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Martin Adams and Michael Huntley finished 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with Mario Robbe finishing 5th on 6 points and Kevin Dowling bottom on 2 points.
In Group B, Robert Thornton topped the group overall, after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Fallon Sherrock, Danny Lauby, Stefan Schroder and Steve West, to end on 12 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Steve West and Danny Lauby also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 10 points each, with Fallon Sherrock finishing 4th on 8 points and Stefan Schroder bottom on 0 points, having suffered eight defeats from eight.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 12 with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm GMT.
Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
