Cam Crabtree was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week 12 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Ron Meulenkamp in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the £5,000 top prize.
Crabtree, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday Evening, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches, as he firstly whitewashed Andy Boulton, before being defeated by Scott Baker.
However, the Englishman did progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Chris Hurds, and from there, Crabtree defeated ‘Hurdsie’ 4-3 to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Crabtree came up against Ron Meulenkamp, who’d defeated Scott Baker in the last four, and ‘Shazam’ whitewashed ‘The Bomb’ 4-0 to seal the 12th and final spot at Champions Week, as well as picking up the £5,000 weekly first prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Champions Week and the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Beau Greaves, Andreas Harrysson and Bradley Brooks.
