Danny Van Trijp took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Four of Series Ten commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Van Trijp, who last appeared at the Super Series back in November 2022, made his long-awaited return by winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Patrick Dekker, Ultan McDyer, Justin Smith and Brandon Weening, with his only defeat coming against Richie Howson, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Richie Howson also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Van Trijp on leg difference, whilst Brandon Weening sits in 3rd on 6 points, Justin Smith in 4th on 4 points, with Ultan McDyer and Patrick Dekker sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Van Trijp leading the way thus far.
