Richie Howson secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.
Howson, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning all five of his matches for the second day in a row.
‘The Owl‘ recorded victories against Patrick Dekker, Justin Smith, Ultan McDyer, Brandon Weening and Danny Van Trijp, to end on 28 points from a possible 30 overall.
Elsewhere, Danny Van Trijp and Brandon Weening will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Van Trijp ending on 20 points and Weening on 12 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Shane McGuirk, John O’Shea and Kelvin O’Keefe.
Justin Smith, Ultan McDyer and Patrick Dekker will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Smith ending on 12 points, McDyer on 10 points and Dekker on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Mason Whitlock, Henry Coates and Luke Smith.
The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
