The ADC Winmau Darts Championship South returns to Bradmoor Farm this weekend for the second quartet of events of the season, with another blockbuster couple of days of tungsten action awaiting those making the trip to Aylesbury.
Following a fiercely competitive opening weekend earlier in the campaign, the race for ranking points is already beginning to take shape and, right now, one man stands proudly above the chasing pack.

Graham Usher – better known across the darting circuit as The Gambler – currently occupies top spot in the standings. Having amassed a colossal maximum tally of twenty-seven points from the opening set of tournaments, the experienced thrower has quickly established himself as the early man to beat.

With the confidence flowing and the scoring power to dismantle any opponent in rapid fashion, Usher is undoubtedly one of the names nobody will want to see beside theirs in the draw.
Breathing down his neck, however, is a talented chasing group packed with proven operators and dangerous outsiders alike. Dai Davies, Alan Slater, Callum Francis, Matt Gillett and Sam Spivey currently complete the top six, all knowing a strong weekend could dramatically alter the complexion of the table.
As always, the format sees four tournaments evenly split across two days, beginning with the opening event on Saturday morning. The rewards on offer are substantial too. Each individual tournament winner walks away with a tidy £1,000 cheque, along with hugely valuable ranking points which significantly enhance qualification hopes for October’s Grand Finals.

For the top eight, a Grand Finals place at showpiece event awaits, staged at the MODUS Live Lounge, carries even greater incentives. Not only is there a £3,000 top prize waiting for the eventual champion, but an invitation to the ADC Global Championship is also up for grabs – and that is where the really lucrative opportunities arrive as well as prestige.
The opening visit to Bradmoor Farm earlier this year produced four different champions, underlining the remarkable competitiveness throughout the field. League leader Usher was among the winners, alongside Davies, Slater and Francis, all of whom laid down early markers.

With momentum, prize money and ranking positions all on the line once again, another enthralling weekend appears firmly on the cards. The big question now is simple – who will be leaving Bradmoor Farm smiling this time around? Very soon, we will find out.
