Hogan Heads MSS Group Stage

Paul Hogan and Reece Colley took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Steve West in Saturday’s Finale at the Modus Super Series darts. 

In Group B, Paul Hogan took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Thursday Evening, as he recorded victories against Benito Van de Pas, Neil Duff, Carl Wilkinson and Simon Stevenson, to sit on a maximum 8 points from a possible 8 thus far.  

Neil Duff and Simon Stevenson ended the night 2^nd and 3^rd respectively on 4 points each, whilst Carl Wilkinson and Benito Van de Pas sit joint bottom on 2 points each.

Colley, who last competed at the Super Series at the beginning of April, made a swift return to the Live Lounge by taking the early lead in Group C after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Joe Heywood, Glenn de Bois, Billy Leonard, Johnny Haines and Kevin Edwards, to sit on a maximum 10 points from a possible 10 thus far. 

Elsewhere, Kevin Edwards ended the day in 8 points, whilst Billy Leonard sits in 3^rd on 6 points, with Glenn de Bois, Johnny Haines and Joe Heywood sitting 4^th, 5^th and 6^th on 2 points each. 

The MODUS Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Steve West in Saturday’s Finale, with Colley and Hogan taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST.
