Aden Kirk, Richard McKee, Simon Whitlock, Graham Usher and Pete Hughes all secured their places in Saturday’s Finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the MODUS Super Series darts, to join Henry Coates, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Kirk, who entered Friday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Bradley Van der Velden, Adam Smith-Neale, Richard McKee and Asa Cansdale, with his only defeat coming against Giovanni Matthee, to end on 18 points from a possible 20 thus far.
Elsewhere, Richard McKee also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Bradley Van der Velden finished 3rd on 10 points, Asa Cansdale in 4th on 8 points, Adam Smith-Neale in 5th on 6 points and Giovanni Matthee bottom on 4 points.

In Group B, Simon Whitlock topped the group overall after winning two of his four matches on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Lewis Gurney and Colin Osborne, with his two defeats coming against Pete Hughes and Graham Usher, to end on 12 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Graham Usher and Pete Hughes also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Usher ending on 12 points and Hughes on 8 points, whilst Lewis Gurney finished 4th on 6 points and Colin Osborne bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Three with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
